An escrow functions as an intermediary between a buyer and a seller, holding the funds until the buyer receives the product or service they ordered. Usually, escrows are used in transactions where the buyer and seller are unknown to each other, or when the transaction is of high value. However, escrows are usually people. Mint Exchange aims to remove the human aspect of an escrow to avoid scams.

How does the Mint Exchange work?

Mint Exchange uses a temporary wallet to hold the funds until the buyer receives the product or service. The buyer sends the funds to the bots wallet, and the seller sends the product or provides their service to the buyer. Once the buyer confirms that they have received the affirmentioned product or service, the funds can be released by the buyer to the seller. If the buyer is not satisfied with said product or service, the funds can be refunded back to the buyer.

How do I use Mint Exchange?

1. Click the button below to start a deal.
2. Ping, or enter the ID of the user you are trading with.
3. Select your roles within the trade.
4. Once the roles have been assigned, the sender of the deal will be provided with an LTC address to send the funds to.
5. Once the bot has received the funds, you may proceed further with the trade.
6. Once the trade has been completed and everybody is satisfied, the sender can release the funds to the receiver.
7. If something goes awry, the receiver can refund the funds back to the sender.

Is the bot safe?

Yes, the bot is safe to use for everyone. We aim to remove the human aspect of an escrow to avoid scams. If you deal outside of Mint Exchange, we are not responsible for any losses you may incur.

Mint Exchange fees

Mint Exchange charges no fees for using the service. However, network fees will apply when sending and receiving funds. We are not in control of these fees.
